Mardez is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He began his career in Dallas, TX honing his performance chops in blues clubs with renowned guitar players. He then moved to Austin, TX to perform professionally. He has performed several hundred shows in the Southern, Western, and Eastern parts of the US at clubs, venues, hotels, casinos, amphitheaters, restaurants, bars, and theaters as a trio, four piece, duo and solo act. Mardez performs jazz, pop, soul, funk, Latin, blues and instrumental covers or original songs upon request always showing love for his experienced guitar playing and smooth soulful vocal style. He's shared the stage with Bob Marley’s original band - The Wailers, modern blues icon- Gary Clark Jr., UK pop legends - ABC, classic rock legends- The Sweet, SoCal soul royalty- B Side Players, 80s rock phenoms- Oingo Boingo, Hit song writer- Peter Beckett of Player, rock innovators - Metalachi, and renowned tribute artists such as Bruno Mars Tribute, The Pat Benatar Experience, and Hells Belles. Mardez demonstrates true a Rock N Roll spirit that’s felt through his music and in every show he plays.
